"The Ghost of Elisa - Lady in White, Joseph Brant Museum"

The earliest confirmed report of any ghost story first appeared in the Hamilton Spectator, by Michael Bennett-1986. A ghostly meeting left a Burlington Woman so shaken, she vowed to never return which added more truth to the tales that surround the site for more than a hundred years.

On October 30, 2002, Patrick Cross led a Special Ghost Tour and Investigation with 24 brave souls and had experienced ghostly apparitions with his group as well. Photos of "orbs" balls of light and an image of a woman believed to be the famous ghost, "Elisa", did appear at the windows looking out at the crowd.

Dare to venture to Joseph Brant Museum on a full moon lit night? Join us on the Burlington Ghost Walks spooky tour in Burlington. You may just see the ghost of Elisa looking at you from the attic window giving you a shiver or two. *For Ghost Walk Bookings, prices, dates and information please call: 905-630-7256 or reservations
